Jobbaloon defines their self as an audio-visual experience, designed to transcend the experiencer from the perceived boundaries of everyday reality into the ultimate realm of limitless oneness...or whatever.
But they are, in fact, much less than that.
Somewhere between the Beatles’ psychedelic era, and Billie Eilish (in a later stage of rehabilitation,) Jobbaloon’s music is written from the heart, with artistic integrity held at utmost importance. Their commitment to never “sell out” is unwavering...except for the purpose of professional success, in which case, there is no limit to the level that they would compromise their principles.
In spite of accusations, the duo does not worship Satan. However, they have befriended him, though only on a casual level, and solely for the purpose of using his connections and influence in the music industry. That said, they are on speaking terms with God, but most importantly, and perhaps synonymously, they are on good terms, and in close contact, with themselves.
They are not above making fun of their Detroit garage rock peers...nor are they beneath emulating them for commercial success. And while they are quick to impress audiences by bashing the music industry and vowing to never sign with a major label, they are fully prepared, with a plethora of excuses, for when they do.
